OK — have been messing about with this thing for maybe six months now and it's stuck on my phone, reckon I'd chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I'm in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, nothing mad, so take it how you like.
How I found it was actually a bit daft — I never could work out what an each way return actually came to once you get five places instead of three. I'd just wing it and get a shock. Now stick my stake in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator tool is the bit I use most — you drop in your stake, the odds and it spits out profit and total return straight away, fractions or decimals. It also handles the multiples — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, which is where I always got it wrong. The thing that really shifted things for me is the geekier tools. They've got an probability calculator that shows what margin's baked in, and a kelly tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutching one is decent for when I'm spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. The interface is very functional, let's say — no frills, it's clearly function over form. On mobile it works though the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. Also there's nothing on the app store, it's a website and that's it — fine by me but you asked.
So yeah. Doesn't cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you honestly works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — saves me a load of "wait, that's it?" moments.
